Newborn Portraits

My latest photographic endeavor has been to bring out the calm, sweet qualities of a newborn baby. I used window light to create a soft, natural look, cranked up the heat, so the little guy would be warm and cozy- even in his birthday suit, and waited until he was catching some serious Z's so we could pose him without bothering him too much. He didn't so much as flinch while Mom and I carefully arranged his little hands, and it shows in the pictures. My personal favorite is him in his little hat, with the contrast of green and brown.

Mom's is him curled up and comfy in the little basket- truly a bundle of joy.
